Star Tattoo - Where To Put It?

A star tattoo is a great tat to get, as it’s bold, powerful, and has strong representation attached to it. Generally a star tattoo represents guidance, or guiding one along a safe and successful journey. This was based on the nautical star tattoo which was worn by sailors who sought a symbol of guidance.

There are some good places on the body to place the star tattoo, which can strengthen its quality of guidance:

1. Chest. The chest is a good place for a star tattoo. Usually upper chest is preferred toward the shoulder tie in, on either side. Many individuals choose to get starred on each side of their chest. Also some star tattoo wearers have chosen a center chest star tattoo. You can see this on the mixed martial artist, Rob McCullough.

2. Upper arm/Shoulder. The shoulder area is a decent place for a star tattoo as well. There’s enough space and it shows off well. The front bicep facing forward could also be an option for star tattoo placement. Generally I believe the star tattoo is best represented facing forward, steering the individual ahead.

3. Wrist. A star wrist tattoo can also be an option. Again many individuals have chosen one star on each wrist.

There are also less favorable places to get a star tattoo. Since representation is that of guidance and moving forward, this writer tends to view the strength of the star tattoo is best represented on the front of the body. Originally the nautical star was used for that of direction, and it seems its strength would be weakened some being inked away and hidden on the back of the body.
